From the creative mind of Mike Miller at Tactical Intervention Specialists (and some help from Triad) comes the Patrol Rifle Strap. The PRS was designed as a simple stand alone carry strap for Close Quarters Battle that does not require attachment to vest, ruck or LBV. For proper function, the weapon should be equipped with a butt stock side sling attachment.
The PRS is made out of 1.5" nylon webbing and is adjustable for both body loop size and drop length. They are cut large enough to fit over heavy body armor or raid vests. The main section of the sling features a side release buckle for quick release. Users that like a sling that is very tight around the body, will find that this makes the sling easier to put on, it can be adjusted small and then locked around the body, works much better than trying to cram your head and arm through the sling loop when you're all jocked up.
