Tripod Anchor.
Ever had your thousand plus dollar tripod with expensive gear atop fall over from high winds or unstable
terrain? Well, we have come across that exact scenario and have come up with a cost-effective and
simple solution to the problem. The Red Tac Gear Tripod Anchor is a light weight 1” webbing strap that
attaches on the top side with a metal “D” ring to the underhook of your RRS, Two Vets, or similar
tripod, and a carabiner of your choosing(not included) to the bottom of the strap. The carabiner allows
you to attach whatever style of weight you would like. I.E Backpack, Shooting Bag, ETC. In the middle of
the Tripod Anchor is a Mil-Spec style quick release adjuster with paracord pull tab that allows you to
tension and adjust the length as you see fit. This allows the shooter to not only add weight to keep the
tripod stable, but also allows you to lift your pack off the ground in wet, snowy or muddy conditions to
keep your bag dry and clean.
